ARTIST STATEMENT
I like to art, it provides some nice emotional outlet that is hard to put into words. I like to use pen because it lets me be precisely imprecise. I also like the contrast I get with the white on black. I also think it’s kinda ironic that emotions are so undefinable yet I’m putting them into black and white with definitive lines. Kinda funny ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ also so many people be askin me to better communicate how I feel and I’m just out here putting exactly down on a paper and they got no idea what it means. I feel through music and I’m putting how I see music onto some paper and ain’t nobody but me see exactly what I see. It’s another way that I can add another level of spiteful while being exactly who I want to be. Just like dreams, drawing is another way to sift through my subconsciousness and let my brain just fuck around and do whatever it wants. It can wallow through sadness or it can put together a supercut of every shining moment I have with someone. It does what it wants and I think you can see that by my art. It makes sense to me so that’s all that matters. Composition is mas e menos important to me, what’s most important is articulating an abstract idea and getting it down on the paper.
